I swear I didn't use food coloring in these waffles. When I took the picture, I almost couldn't believe I hadn't, because they were so darn pink. But they are entirely colored with BEETS!

Make these fun Valentine's Day waffles:

1 cup almond flour
1/2 cup tapioca flour
1 tsp baking powder (aluminum free kind!)
1 tsp coconut sugar
1 beet, spiralized (or chopped, but the spirals are easier to break down)
1 tsp avocado oil or coconut oil
1 T hemp seeds
2 eggs
1 scoop @alohamoments
1 scoop collagen
1/2 tsp vanilla
1/2 cup almond milk (may need to use a little more or less depending how thick you want the batter to be) 

Directions: Mix everything in a high powered blender - I love my Vitamix! Grease pre-heated waffle iron with a little coconut oil. May need to re-grease after 3 or 4 waffles. 

Top with: Coyo coconut chocolate yogurt, Lily's dark chocolate, and cacao nibs. Or whatever your heart desires!
